“I believe that as a teacher I must make students realize that learning is a process of failing, success, and joy. It is also vital to make them recognize their commitment to humanity, help society fill the gaps, and provide immediate and practical solutions.”
Teaching is one of the most important ways to create a lifelong learning experience and discover your inner potential. It provides a unique opportunity to share knowledge and exchange ideas in a favorable environment. Through teaching, we are able to name, identify, and come up with solutions to the problems we face in our personal lives and society at large. Research enables us to take what we have learned from the teaching experience and push the boundaries of knowledge to create meaningful changes in the world. Undoubtedly, teaching is one of the honorable professions that can bring positive change in society.
Therefore, teaching is particularly vital to my mission. I have a diverse range of teaching experiences, spread over the course of about ten + years. I have thoroughly enjoyed my teaching experiences.
I teach a range of courses in the area of industrial engineering, operations research, data analytics and engineering management.
Through teaching applied statistics and fundamental optimization concepts, I help my students avoid common quantitative and cognitive mistakes and, most importantly, to increase the range and creativity of the alternatives they apply to tackling problems.
